The 大学的歌手 are 沃拉沃拉大学’s general choir. Membership in 大学的歌手 is open to all students, 教师, 工作人员, and community musicians; entrance by audition. The 大学的歌手 perform one major concert performance per quarter plus performances for church services.

ICantori of 沃拉沃拉大学

导演:博士. Kraig斯科特

The university’s select choir, an auditioned group chosen from the entire student body, enjoys a history of touring that began in 1929. 重命名 ICantori (Italian: “the singers”) in 1979, the ensemble has traveled extensively in the Pacific Northwest and western United States, 最近, New York City and Washington D.C. Performances include sacred and secular classical choral repertoire in concert and on tour, plus church and local performances. Required membership in 大学的歌手.

风交响曲

Director: Professor Brandon Beck

Open to all students, with entrance by audition. This is a traditional concert band that performs locally and does some off-campus touring. 风交响曲 members rehearse three times a week.

Director: Professor Brandon Beck

Traditional big band with vocalists that performs a variety of musical styles including jazz and popular music. Open to all students and 工作人员 by audition. Performances include concerts and special events on and off campus.

A Caribbean style steel band that performs music representative of the Caribbean, other world music styles, and classical music in sacred and secular contexts. On-campus and local performances, with some off-campus touring.

弦乐四重奏

Prerequisite: Membership in 交响乐团 or permission from instructor. On-campus, church, and local performances as well as off-campus touring. 试演入会.

Prerequisite: Membership in 风交响曲 or special permission from the instructor. On-campus and local performances, with some off-campus touring. Possible ensembles include 铜管五重奏 or a brass choir.

木管乐器合奏

Prerequisite: Membership in 风交响曲 or permission from instructor. On-campus and local performances, with some off-campus touring. Possible ensembles include a flute choir, 木管五重奏, 萨克斯管乐团, and a clarinet quintet or choir

琴合奏

Harp duos, trios, quartets, or larger groups under the direction of the harp instructor. On-campus, church, and local performances.
